This film talks about influence and domestic violence. It tells how Laura exteriorizes her emotions, sensations, and dualities through painting. How the beauty of her art is a powerful way of restart movement: recreating movement where all vital energy had disappeared. Between beauty and ugliness, Hope and fatality, Life and death. A closed-door bathroom stages how the beautiful and the aesthetic serve as an outlet, a resource and a playground to move forward, evolve and get out of the grip. An art-therapeutic journey from bruising to blue yellow pink.

biography

I am a photographer, art therapist and director from Paris, living in Brussels. My work talks about identity, grief, ascendency, control and metamorphosis. Making films allows me to create bridges between the arts, between my passions, between people: to gather and share.
