A young woman arrives for a casting call in a building ruled by mysterious laws. After getting ready in a makeup room, she tries opening the door that leads to the casting room…only to find herself back in the makeup room again. She realizes that to reach the casting room, she must keep transforming herself until the building deems her “beautiful enough”. Trapped in an endless loop, she gradually loses control of both her appearance and her emotions, but refuses to give up.

biography

My name is Yaëlle, and I’m a writer and director from France. Growing up in Versailles, the city’s history and secrets sparked my passion for storytelling. After earning an MFA at Loyola Marymount University, I went on to write and direct several short films, with a focus on psychological thrillers.
